A special wildlife moment 🐢🥚

Our team was fortunate to witness a turtle laying and burying her eggs on the trail system. To give the nest the best chance of survival, we protected the area from disturbance and will continue to monitor it. Here's hoping for a successful hatch in the weeks ahead!

🎨🌼 Create Art with the The Conyers Rockdale Council for the Arts!🌼🎨

Looking for a fun afternoon of creativity, community, and giving back? Join CRCA for Sip & Paint Garden Art, a special fundraiser that will help bring color and creativity to the Pollinator Education Garden at Big Haynes Creek Nature Center.

Participants will paint either a decorative garden paver or a ceramic mushroom that will become a permanent part of the garden, creating pathways and whimsy for visitors to enjoy for years to come. No artistic experience is required—stencils and guidance will be available for all skill levels!

🍄 Your $50 donation includes:

* One paver or ceramic mushroom to paint
* All supplies and materials
* One complimentary beverage
* A chance to leave your artistic mark on a community garden

🗓️ Saturday, June 20th
🕑 2 PM – 8 PM (2-hour time slots available)

Otters are some of the most expressive animals in the world! Their faces can appear curious, surprised, mischievous, and even "sad" thanks to their unique facial features. Add in their twitching whiskers, playful paw movements, and dramatic face-washing routines, and it's easy to see why they seem so full of personality.

Sometimes an otter's expression looks so human, you can't help but wonder what they're thinking!🦦✨
