Last Thursday, we had the wonderful opportunity to welcome the Leadership Rockdale Class of 2027 at orientation!

We’re excited for the journey ahead as these emerging leaders dive deeper into the people, places, organizations, and opportunities that make Conyers-Rockdale such an amazing place to live, work, and thrive.

Over the coming months, this incredible group will learn, connect, collaborate, and gain a deeper understanding of our community and the role each of us can play in helping it continue to grow.

Congratulations, George Kelecheck!

We’re so proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition right here in Rockdale County! 🎉

George Kelecheck, District Supervisor for the Rockdale County Conservation District, was recently named the 2026 Supervisor of the Year by the Georgia Association of Conservation Districts!

Since 2020, George has been a dedicated advocate for conservation, supporting student programs, school gardens, watershed protection, and environmental education. Through his leadership, he continues to bring our community together to protect Georgia’s natural resources and inspire future generations. 🌱

☀️ Another successful JumpStart Your Morning! 🤝

We had a great time kicking off the morning Tuesday at Emblem at Conyers with great conversations, and even better networking! ☕️

Guests also had the opportunity to tour the amenities and explore a model apartment, getting a firsthand look at all that Emblem at Conyers has to offer.

A special congratulations to the Emblem at Conyers team on reaching an incredible 96% occupancy! Special shoutout to Kaylan and Kayla, their hard work does not go unnoticed.

Rockdale County, we have something to celebrate! Greatness lives right here in Conyers, GA!

Our very own Raegan McCambry is a student at Rockdale Magnet School for Science and Technology and Rockdale Career Academy, a participant in the 2026 Leadership Youth Rockdale program, and a scholar at The Veritas Schools. Raegan is also the proud daughter of Chamber members Shanee and Reco McCambry of Novae.

Veritas has sent students to Harvard for the eighth consecutive year, and they competed and won the Harvard International Debate program and competition! The welcome home celebration went viral and even made it to Channel 2 News!

This is not just a personal win; this is a community win.
Raegan, you make us so incredibly proud! Conyers, GA is raising GREATNESS and the whole country is watching!
