3 Years of Serving Our Communities! 👮‍♂️🚔

Today, June 4, 2026, marks exactly three years since the Beaver Valley Regional Police Department (BVRPD) officially hit the streets - protecting the Boroughs of Baden, Conway, and Freedom, and Rochester Township.

As we celebrate our 3rd Anniversary, we reflect on the progress we’ve made together over the last 36 months:

Growth & Strength: We have grown into a specialized force of 19 full-time sworn officers, providing 24/7 coverage.

School Safety: Our School Resource Officer (SRO) program serves Baden Academy, Class Academy, and the Rochester Area School District to ensure our students have a safe learning environment.

K9 Unit: Our dual-purpose K9, Drex, has been on patrol since early 2025, assisting in narcotics detection, search and officer protection - funded entirely through generous community donations.

Modernized Equipment: To ensure our officers have the best equipment to serve you, we are enhancing our fleet with 5 grant-funded, brand-new cruisers to modernize our patrol capabilities.

Fiscal Responsibility: Through strategic budget management, we continue to stabilize municipal costs. 2026 funding levels represent a decrease from 2025 and align with what our towns were spending pre-regionalization.

This journey would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our officers, the oversight of our Commissioners, and—most importantly—the continued support of the citizens we serve.

As we go into nicer weather and school letting out soon, we would like to remind residents about road/street safety. PA has provided an information sheet with regulations pertaining to e-bikes, scooters & other miscellaneous vehicles to ensure that we all are safe on the streets in Conway Borough and our surrounding neighbors.
Parents and guardians to minors, PLEASE talk with them to educate them on safety regulations while riding these types of vehicles and also regular bicycles.
