The members of the Conway Volunteer Fire Department would like to extend our sincere congratulations to four of our members who have successfully completed their Fire Fighter 1 training through the Beaver County Fire Fighters Association.

This achievement represents a significant commitment to education, training, and professional development. Completing Fire Fighter 1 requires dedication, countless hours of classroom instruction and hands-on training, and a commitment to developing the skills necessary to effectively serve our community.

We are extremely proud of these four members and their dedication to continuing their training and strengthening our department.

The Beaver County Firefighters Association is proud to invite family, friends, fellow firefighters, municipal officials, and members of the community to join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of our newest firefighters!

Over the past eight months, the members of BCFFA Entry Level Academy Class 26-01 have dedicated more than 350 hours to classroom instruction, hands-on training, physical fitness, practical skills, and certification requirements.

Throughout the Academy, these students have been challenged physically and mentally, but they continued to push forward, support one another, and develop the knowledge and skills necessary to serve their departments and communities.

In addition to recognizing the graduates of Academy Class 26-01, we will also recognize Beaver County firefighters who have earned their Firefighter 1 certification since September 13, 2025.

This ceremony is an opportunity to recognize not only the accomplishments of our graduates, but also the families, fire departments, instructors, and organizations that supported them throughout their journey.

We at the C.V.F.D would like to express a giant Happy Birthday to our FirePolice Capain and Hall Manager Ric Capone. Happy Birthday Bud! Most of the Sirens went off at 11am for ya!!! LoL

The annual siren test is tomorrow, September 8th at 11am. The emergency sirens within the 10-mile radius of the Beaver Valley Power Station will be activated. These outdoor warning sirens will sound for a steady 3 minutes.

They donated Turnout Coats, Turnout Pants, Firefighting Helmets, Boots, SCBA's, SCBA Bottles, SCBA Masks, Thermal Imaging Cameras, Firefighting Hose, Firefighting Hose Nozzles, Ropes, Chains, and Hose Clamps.
