The City of Conway is creating a Community Forest Plan to help sustainably manage our trees and forests over the next 20 years.

Residents are invited to attend a Community Forest Plan Meeting on Tuesday, July 21, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at Conway City Hall.

This meeting is an opportunity to share what you want to see for the future of Conway’s trees, provide feedback on draft recommendations, and visit with City staff and other community members.

REMINDER 🌱2026 Cover Crop Incentive Program - applications now open!

Receive funding for planting cover crops in Perry County! This program aims to promote the use of cover crops to improve soil health, reduce erosion, and protect water quality.

The incentive payment system is:

📌1st Tier: Minimum of 5 species Cover Crop mix planted
between Aug 1 - Sept 15, 2026. Rate payment: $70 / ac.

📌2nd Tier: Minimum of 3 species Cover Crop mix planted
between Sept 16 - Oct 30, 2026. Rate payment: $50 / ac.

📌3rd Tier: At least 1 species Cover Crop mix planted after
Aug 1, 2026. Rate payment: $30 / ac.
