The EDC is empowered to issue bonds, notes, and other forms of debt instruments on behalf of the City of Converse.

We are an organization that continually aspires to be a recognized economic development leader in Texas by focusing on actions that connect community and commerce, promote business growth, and improve the quality of life for Converse citizens. The EDC was also sanctioned to acquire, maintain, lease, and sell property and interests on behalf of the City of Converse. To date, the EDC has worked diligently to fulfill it commitment in promoting economic development within the City to eliminate unemployment and under employment.

At Four Paws Inn of Converse, owner Lyndi Lange knows that caring for pets starts with building a great team.

Since purchasing the business in 2014, Lyndi has made employee development a priority. Her team of 22 includes employees who have been with Four Paws Inn for six, eight, and even ten years. Through ongoing training and opportunities to grow, they bring experience, knowledge, and a personal touch to the pets and families they serve.

And that personal touch matters.

Four Paws Inn believes every pet is unique. That's why the team welcomes dogs of all breeds and ages, evaluates their individual needs, and maintains smaller, supervised playgroups that prioritize safety and attention. They even have a separate ventilation system for their cat accommodations to help feline guests feel more comfortable.

From daycare and boarding to grooming and training, Four Paws Inn offers a range of services under one roof.

What stands out most is Lyndi's pride in her employees. She credits the people who show up each day, builds relationships with families, and care for their four-legged guests.
