Thank you HEB for providing a meal for the Department to commemorate the 25th anniversary of 911. We will never forget and we will always stand ready to answer the call for our fellow man. We have willingly entered into a vocation to help and we always will. God bless all that perished on that dreadful day as well as those that have gone since due to illness.

On the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, we at Bexar County ESD 11 hosted a commemoration. Words of remembrance were spoken by Commissioner Tommy Calvert, Chief Wendt, Lieutenant Morris, Firefighter McNamara, Engineer Ybarra, and Firefighter Jessamine.

Thank you to those who joined us to honor the countless lives lost on that faithful day. Our hearts and prayers are forever with the families of those affected. We thank the 343 and counting firefighters who paid the ultimate sacrifice. We will never forget 🇺🇸

Around 2300 yesterday evening, BCESD 11 responded to a report of a residential structure fire along the 7500 block of Oriental Trail. T141 and E140 made the initial fire attack and additional crews assisted with a complete knockdown. No injuries were reported.

Thank you to our mutual aid departments, BCESD 10, Windcrest Fire Department, China Grove Fire Department, and Bexar Bulverde Fire Department.
