Today, the officers and members of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) pause to remember and honor Officer Brad Fox of the Plymouth Township Police Department, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty 14 years ago today.

Officer Fox's courage, dedication, and unwavering commitment to protecting our community will never be forgotten. His service and sacrifice continue to inspire all who serve and remind us of the risks our law enforcement officers and first responders face each day.

We join our law enforcement partners, Officer Fox's family, friends, and all those who knew and loved him in remembering a true hero. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the example he set for future generations of public servants.

Please keep Officer Fox's family and our brothers and sisters of the Plymouth Township Police Department in your thoughts today as we honor his memory.

Today, on the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the members of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) pause to remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost and the countless families forever changed by that tragic day.

We honor the 343 FDNY firefighters, 23 NYPD officers, 37 Port Authority Police officers, and all first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice while answering the call to help others that day and those taken from us from illness since. Their courage, selflessness, and unwavering commitment to duty continue to inspire the fire service and emergency responders across our nation.

As we remember those we lost, we also recognize the resilience and strength of our country and the enduring spirit of service that emerged from the darkness of that day.

Please join us in remembering the victims, honoring the heroes, and keeping their families and loved ones in your thoughts. May God bless them and may God bless America 🇺🇸

The career staff and volunteers of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) along with the Harmonville Fire Company No.1 were dispatched at 13:29 hours this afternoon to the area of Ridge Pike and Alan Wood Road for a reported vehicle fire.

Chief 43 went enroute with reports of an SUV with fire visible from under the hood. Squad 43 with a crew of 3 and Sq**rt 43 with a crew of 2 made the response.

Engine 44-1, Squad 43 and Chief 43 all arrived to find an SUV on W/B Ridge Pike well involved in fire. The crews from Squad 43, Engine 44-1 and Engine 44 place a bumper line 1¾" handline in service to quickly knock down all visible fire.

The fire was quickly extinguished and under control within 10 minutes. Crews remained on scene overhauling and wetting down the vehicle until being released. The scene was turned over the Plymouth Township Police Department and units were available just after 14:00 hours.

Early this morning as heavy rainfall and storms rolled through the area, the volunteers of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) were dispatched at 02:07 hours to Mile marker 19.2 S/B on Route I-476 for a vehicle accident with reported injuries. Initial 911 callers reported a tractor trailer had left the roadway colliding into the trees and over the guardrail.

Chief 43 responded just after dispatch and was updated with reports that the driver of the tractor trailer was entrapped. The incident was then upgraded to an Accident with entrapment.

Chief 43 arrived confirming the driver to be confined in the cab with trees and brush on top of and pressed into the driver's compartment. Squad 43 with a crew of 3 arrived and went into service with saws and spreaders to clear debris and pop the driver's side door open freeing the confined operator.

Command marked the rescue complete within 10 minutes and the operator was transferred to the care of awaiting EMS. Sq**rt 43 and Traffic 43 responded and assisted with traffic control and lane blocking. The incident was turned over to PA State Police and station 43 was clear and available just after 02:30 hours.

Following an eventful Tuesday morning and afternoon, the volunteers of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) had the opportunity to meet with our community at last evenings Plymouth Township National Night Out event hosted by our colleagues of the Plymouth Township Police Department and Plymouth Township Emergency Management!

It was an amazing evening as we had the opportunity to work with our brothers and sisters of the Harmonville Fire Company No.1 to demonstrate our rescue capabilities, show off our state of the art firefighting equipment and apparatus!

Thank you to all of community members and visitors for stopping by to see us and speak with us about or continued mission to provide you the best and most professional emergency services you have all come to expect from us.

Following a working fire earlier in the morning, the career staff and volunteers of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) remained busy this Tuesday afternoon as they were dispatched at 12:54 hours to the 1100 block of Ridge Pike at the Liberty Gas Station for an appliance fire.

Chief 43 along with Sq**rt 43 with a crew of 4 responded immediately after dispatch with reports of a stove on fire in the kitchen. Deputy 27 of the Norristown Fire Dept. was first to arrive reporting smoke showing from the 1-story convenience store. With this report Chief 43 requested the assignment be upgraded to a building fire.

Squad 27 arrived and secured their own water supply and advanced an 1¾" handline into the kitchen as crews from Sq**rt 43 and Engine and Squad 44 assisted with securing utilities, opening up and checking for extension.

Fire was found on the stove with minimal extension to the wall and quickly extinguished. Command placed the fire under control within 10 minutes with no reported injuries. Companies remained on scene ventilating the building until being released just after 13:30 hours.

At 10:08 hours this morning the volunteers and career staff of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) were dispatched to the 600 block of Bethlehem Pike in Whitemarsh Township to assist the Barren Hill Fire Company on a reported dwelling fire.

First arriving units reported heavy fire showing from the garage and first floor of a 2-story carriage house single family dwelling. Sq**rt 43 and Chief 43 with a crew of 6 responded on the working fire dispatch.

Upon arrival, Chief 43 was assigned to the interior with Tower 33 on Centre Square Fire Company to assist in opening up on the second floor. The crew of Sq**rt 43 were assigned I-RIT and stood by on the side Alpha.

Mutliple handlines were placed in service with truck companies conducting ventilation to knock down all visible fire. Command placed the fire under control just after the 30 minute mark. Sq**rt 43 was then released by command and werw available just before noon.

At 00:47 hours this morning, the volunteers of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) were dispatched to the 400 block of Ridge Pike in neighboring Whitemarsh Township to assist the Barren Hill Fire Company on a reported building fire.

Chief 29 arrived to find a 3-story apartment with smoke showing and the WTPD advising a heavy smoke condition inside 1 apartment.

Ladder 43 with a crew of 5 responded and assumed the 1st due truck company upon their arrival. Due to power lines, the operator positioned on the Alpha/Delta side of the building and flew the main to the roof and multiple ground ladders as the crew entered the fire building to begin primary searches and begin opening up for the engine company.

Crews located fire in an upstairs laundry room and quickly knocked down all visible fire, holding it to the room of origin. Command then scaled the incident back within the first 15 minutes. Ladder 43's crew remained on scene assisting with overhaul before being released just before 02:00 hours.
