Observed on March 21st, this day symbolizes the three copies of chromosome 21 that cause Down syndrome. Join us in raising awareness of the amazing individuals and families touched by Down syndrome in our community.

Yesterday, County Attorney B.D. Griffin joined community leaders at the groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of the Montgomery County Mental Health Facility.

The project will add 100 new beds to the facility, helping to meet the growing demand for competency restoration mental health services in Montgomery County and the State of Texas.

This expansion is an important step in strengthening resources for care, recovery, and hope.

The Montgomery County Attorney’s Office is excited to welcome three newly sworn-in Assistant County Attorneys! After successfully passing the bar exam, each attorney took their oath and are officially part of our team.

Sydney Harper was sworn in by Judge Amy Tucker and joins our CPS Division. Sydney earned her law degree from Southern Methodist University – Dedman School of Law and completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University.

Reba George was sworn in by Judge Kristin Bays and will be serving in the Open Records Division. Reba is a graduate of Texas A&M University School of Law, with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston.

Alejandra Sullivan was also sworn in by Judge Kristin Bays and joins our Civil Division. She earned her law degree from South Texas College of Law and her undergraduate degree from Texas State University.

Please join us in congratulating Sydney, Reba, and Alejandra as they begin their careers in public service. We are thrilled to have them on board!
