β€οΈ A night at Family Promise β€οΈ
Last night was one of those evenings that reminded me why community matters so much.
While our parents participated in Life Skills Class with Gayle from Thrive Offline, our kids enjoyed Kids Club led by Kelly and friends from Just Serve. There was laughter, games, creativity, and plenty of opportunities for kids to just be kids.
Dinner was generously provided by The Woodlands Community Presbyterian Church, and judging by the empty containers at the end of the night, it was a hit! π
One of my favorite things about Family Promise evenings is seeing so many people come together to support families on their journey toward stability. Volunteers teach classes, serve meals, spend time with children, and create a welcoming environment where families can learn, grow, and connect.
Thank you to Gayle with Thrive Offline, Kelly and the Just Serve team, and The Woodlands Community Presbyterian Church for investing your time, talents, and hearts into the families we serve.
It truly takes a village. β€οΈ
