The Normandy landings occurred on June 6, 1944 during World War II. It was the largest seaborne invasion in history and began the liberation of France and the rest of Western Europe. It was the foundation for the Allied victory on the Western Front.

Congratulations to Sabre Industries on winning at the American Galvanizer's Association Awards Banquet for featuring a case study on our First Responders Plaza Light Globes as an Excellence in Hot-Dip Galvanizing award winner. Sabre Industries partnered with Buzzard Industries to galvanize the repurposed globes.

Galvanizing protects the steel and preserves the paint which was essential to the Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Park Commission who collaborated with the Sabre Galvanizing team.
