Today, our VMI Leadership Team joined in on Rhyme Without Reason, and the creativity did not disappoint! From ridiculous rhymes to even better costumes, we’re always up for a little fun while building a culture our staff and students want to be part of.

Because leadership is serious work… but we don’t have to take ourselves seriously ALL the time! ❤️🦅💙

📚 Student-Led Learning in Action! 🦅

The learning was in the hands of our students in Ms. Zenos’ classroom today! Students took ownership of their reading through student-led reading groups—discussing the text, sharing their thinking, asking questions, and learning from one another.

🧪🔬 5th Grade Science is gearing up for Unit 2!

Our teachers were hard at work using backwards design to prepare for the launch of Separating Mixtures Using Various Tools! Starting with where we want students to end allows us to intentionally plan the learning experiences that will get them there.

A huge shoutout to Mrs. Musil for leading the team through hands-on modeling—giving teachers the opportunity to experience the learning just like our students will! 👏
