🚨 ATTENTION RESIDENTS — LITTLE CREEK ROAD CLOSED 🚨

Little Creek Road is currently CLOSED between Route 528 (Prospect Road) and Crab Run Road due to a tree and utility wires down across the roadway.

Brightspeed has been notified and will be sending a crew to evaluate the situation in the morning.

⚠️ PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE AROUND ROAD CLOSED SIGNS.

The roadway is closed for your safety due to the downed tree and wires.

🏠 RESIDENT ACCESS:
• Residents from Route 528 through 621 Little Creek Road can access their residences from the Route 528 side.
• Residents at 608 Little Creek Road and addresses below must access their residences from the Crab Run Road side.

Please use caution in the area and allow utility crews and emergency personnel room to work.

Today, the Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Company officially broke ground on our new fire station—marking the start of construction and an incredible milestone in our department's history.

For generations, the Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Company has protected and served Connoquenessing Borough, Connoquenessing Township, and our surrounding communities. Today, we officially begin building the next chapter of that legacy.

This project represents much more than a new building. It represents an investment in the future of our fire company, our members, and the community we are proud to serve. It will provide a home for future generations of firefighters and help ensure that CVFC can continue answering the call for decades to come.

A project of this magnitude simply would not be possible without the tremendous generosity, expertise, and support of so many people and organizations.

🎒🚌 BACK TO SCHOOL, BUTLER AREA! 🚌🎒

Tomorrow, students across the Butler Area School District head back to the classroom! 📚✏️

The members of the Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Company would like to wish all students, teachers, administrators, staff, and families a safe, successful, and exciting school year! 🚒❤️

As everyone gets back into the school-year routine, please keep a few important safety reminders in mind:

🚌 Watch for School Buses Slow down and be prepared to stop when you see a school bus. Never pass a school bus with its red lights flashing and stop arm extended.

🚸 Watch for Students Children may be walking, biking, or waiting near the roadway. Stay alert, especially around bus stops, intersections, neighborhoods, and school zones.

🚗 Slow Down Give yourself extra time tomorrow morning. Expect increased traffic and congestion, and obey all posted school-zone speed limits.

📵 Put the Phone Down Keep your attention on the road. A text, notification, or phone call can wait.

👀 Parents & Students Look both ways before crossing, use sidewalks and designated crosswalks whenever possible, and make sure younger children know their bus stop and emergency contact information.

🚒 Remember: Tomorrow morning will look a little different on our roads. Be patient, stay alert, and help make sure everyone gets to school—and back home—safely.
