We’re back to featured Friday posts!

This week, we’re excited to feature Best Beauty Bar, located at 1834 Virginia Ave. in Connersville! Crystal was the first to fill out our featured Friday business spotlight form we posted this week.

Owned and operated by Crystal Wright and her sister-in-law, Larrisa, Best Beauty Bar was created with one goal in mind: helping people feel their best while making their everyday beauty routines a little easier.

Teeth whitening, Lip blushing, Microchanneling, Permanent eyeliner, Microblading, Piercings, Lash extensions, Spray tans, and more.

Crystal’s journey into the beauty industry began when she started looking for these types of services for herself. With her children grown, she decided it was the perfect time to pursue something new. After completing the necessary schooling and certifications, she found her niche and transformed space the family already owned into Best Beauty Bar.

The name also has a special connection to the family—the beauty bar shares its location with her husband’s neighboring business, Best Machine Company.

One service especially close to their hearts is children’s piercings. Crystal shared that being part of such a memorable moment for a child and their family is something that truly brightens their day.

This is huge news for Connersville and will fire up the local economy for a bit. Also a chance to show off our great city to some firstime visitors

!IHSAA sports information director Jason Wille said the Spartan Bowl in Connersville will replace Southport for the regional round this season. The McAnally Center in Greencastle will replace Southport as a semistate site in the south.

IHSAA approves new sites for regional, semistate boys basketball with Southport out of mix due to renovations.
