Fayette County animal shelter assists in rehoming pets and helping lost pets get back home. We take every call seriously and respond in a prompt manner to get matters taken care of whether you're concerned about the loose dog running the streets about to get hit or you are just wanting us to check on the welfare of a pet you feel is being mistreated. Animals are our passion and we will do what we can to take care of the ones in our community.

Our cats and kittens got a little spoiled today! 😻❤️

We were able to deep clean the cat & kitten room and thanks to a generous donation of cat trees, they now have some awesome new places to climb, play, nap, and bird-watch!

They are absolutely LOVING them! 😍

We still have ONE more cat tree to build, but these kitties are already enjoying their upgraded room!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who showed up today and volunteered their time to walk our shelter dogs! ❤️

Because of YOU, every single dog got out of their kennel today for a walk, some extra playtime, and much-needed enrichment. 🐶🥰

Those little moments mean SO much to these dogs, and we couldn’t do it without our incredible volunteers!
