The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Wayne County in east central Indiana...
Northern Union County in east central Indiana...
Northeastern Fayette County in east central Indiana...

* Until 645 PM EDT.

* At 555 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Connersville,
moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
Richmond, Connersville, Centerville, Cambridge City, Waterloo,
Abington, Milton, Greens Fork, East Germantown, Spring Grove,
Boston, Richmond Municipal Airport, Witts Station, Mettel Field,
Clifton, Middleboro, Jacksonburg, Philomath, and Beesons.

This includes the following Interstates...
I-70 in Indiana between mile markers 139 and 156.
I-70 in Ohio near mile marker 0.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

building.

πŸš‘πŸš‘To continue our EMS Week 2026 posts we want to highlight A Shift. πŸš‘πŸš‘

First, we want to recognize A-EMT William Free (Left) with 10 years of service and EMT Dale Munson (Right) with 30 years of service!

A Shift is comprised of Paramedics Mike McQuinley (9 Years) and Scott Brown ( 6 Years), and EMT’s Dale Munson (30 Years) , Jesse Sorrell (17 Years), William Free (10 Years), and Christian Lee (8 Years). At 82 years of combined service, they remain our number 1 shift in terms of service.
