Please join us in wishing K9 “Pneuma” a happy birthday! He turns 1 year old today! He may look goofy, but he means business … most of the time.

Huge thank you to our community once again for supporting us by providing access to spaces for us to train K9 “Pneuma” and our K9 teams from surrounding communities. We all strive to support each other by sharing access to real-world training scenarios whenever possible. Yesterday we had access to two amazing venues provided by Kevin Leonard and Sharon Kosisko from Service Master in Connellsville. In this video you’ll see our K9’s practicing narcotics detection, apprehensions, and evidence searches. Thank you!!

THANK YOU to the Walter E. Brown Post #21 Auxiliary to the VFW for their generous donation over the weekend. Currently, funds are going toward continued training and care for our new K9 “Pneuma” so we can get him working the streets as soon as possible. He turns 11 months old tomorrow and is currently certified in tracking for missing people. He is on his way to be certified in narcotics detection as well. In this photo from left to right is Corporal Garlick, K9 Pneuma, Lori Henry, Kim Jacobs, and Jeffrey Stewart. Thanks again!!

“Pneuma” is Greek and refers to “spirit” and “breath.” We hope that Ambroos’s spirit will live on through Pneuma as he prepares to pick up where Ambroos left off. He sure does have some big paw prints 🐾 to fill!

Happy Sunday all! Meet “Pneuma” he is a 5 month old male Dutch Shepherd. Corp Garlick has been training Pneuma for the last few months. He is hoping to have our new K9 Officer back in rotation at the beginning of 2026.

Corp Garlick said he will be doing a fall/winter T-shirt/hoodie sale soon.

We are always accepting donations for our K9 unit. Thank you to everyone that continues to support our K9 program

We want to extend our gratitude to Eternal Life Cremation Services for taking such great care of K9 Ambroos’s remains.

Although K9 Ambroos’s passing was upsetting, Eternal Life helped make the process very simple, showing their outstanding support along the way. Ambroos is now at rest in his home in a beautiful urn along with a decorative clay pawprint.

Thank you Eternal Life Cremation Services!
