City Hall will be closed next week, June 29 through July 3, while the Clerk is on vacation.

Sewer and trash bills will still be mailed out as usual during that time.

If you need to make a payment or take care of any City business, please try to stop in this week before the closure.

City Hall will reopen with regular hours on Monday, July 6.

The City Council will conduct a community-wide review of properties that may violate the City's nuisance ordinances or have been the subject of complaints.

Following the City Council meeting on July 13, 2026, property owners with identified nuisance violations (overgrown lawns, junk, inoperable vehicles, etc.) will receive a notice and an opportunity to correct the issues. Failure to remedy the nuisance may result in fines, abatement by City-hired contractors at the property owner's expense, towing of junk or inoperable vehicles, or other enforcement actions as permitted by City ordinance.

If you have questions, please stop by City Hall or speak with a member of the City Council or the Mayor.

We encourage everyone to take a look around their property and address any potential issues now.....before notices are sent. A little effort today can help avoid enforcement actions later and will help keep our community looking its best.

From the Mayor;

I spent my entire life in Fredonia before moving to Conesville with my family, and while I will always be proud of where I came from, some of the very best moments of my life have been made here in Conesville.

The sense of community in this town is truly something special. There is always someone willing to lend a hand, offer support, or simply be there when a friend is needed. That kindness and connection are what make this community feel so much like home.

Attending today’s Memorial Day ceremony at the cemetery and seeing so many people gathered together filled me with pride and gratitude to be part of this incredible town. The support shown for our veterans and for those we have lost was heartfelt and inspiring.

To our veterans, thank you for putting together such an outstanding memorial ceremony today. Your dedication, sacrifice, and continued service to our community do not go unnoticed.

I also want to sincerely thank the City of Conesville for allowing me the honor of serving as mayor of this amazing town. It is a privilege I never take for granted, and I am incredibly proud to serve this community.

As we celebrate Memorial Day weekend, please take a moment to thank a veteran for the freedoms we enjoy each day, and most importantly, remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives to protect those freedoms.

Happy Memorial Day weekend to all.

Trash and recycling this week is normal - Wednesday 20th.

Next week it is pushed back a day to Thursday 28th due to the Holiday.
