Effective Thursday May 28,2026 the stop sign at the intersection of First and Adams Street will be reinstated. Following a near-miss incident involving a resident and a school bus, it was discovered that the sign had been missing for an undetermined period. The sign has now been restored.

Please be aware that we will be seeing a significant amount of traffic coming through the village next week as CR273 is closed for work.

Coshocton County Engineer’s Office announced today that County Road 273 in Franklin Township will be closed Monday, May 18 through Thursday, May 21 for culvert demolition. County Road 273 will be closed between 5 Points and 47109 CR 273 (by train tracks) The road will Not be open to traffic at any time during this closure. The main entrances to Conesville Industrial Park will be open at both ends. The road will re-open to traffic on May 21st at 4:00 pm. weather permitting.

Village council will hold its regular monthly meeting tomorrow, May 6, at 6 PM at the Municipal Building. As always, public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

There is currently and open seat on village council. Anyone interested will need to attend the meeting to be considered to fill the seat. If you have any questions, please reach out to any current council member or the mayor.

PUBLIC NOTICE – ROAD IMPROVEMENTS for State St and Marquand Ave.
The Village of Conesville would like to inform residents and motorists that roadway repairs are scheduled to take place next Thursday (4/30), weather permitting. Paving operations are scheduled for Friday (5/8) and the following Monday (5/11), contingent on weather conditions.
Temporary traffic delays, lane closures, and limited access to driveways should be expected during construction. Residents are encouraged to use caution, follow posted signage, and anticipate brief inconveniences while this work is completed.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we collaborate with our Industrial Park partners to improve roadway conditions in the Village of Conesville.
