I’m proud to co-host a Senate Democratic Policy Committee hearing happening right now on one of the biggest issues facing Pennsylvanians: the rising cost of electricity.

We’re discussing practical solutions to lower electric bills and protect consumers from unfair utility practices, including my legislation, Senate Bill 312, which would stop customers from being automatically switched into costly variable-rate electric plans without their consent when their contracts expire.

📚✏️ Help Delaware County Students Start the School Year Strong! 🎒🍎

The Delaware County Health Department is collecting donations for our 3rd Annual Back-to-School Donation Drive, supporting local students and families ahead of our Back-to-School Fair on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

We're looking for new school and hygiene supplies, including:
✅ Notebooks, binders, folders, and loose-leaf paper
✅ Pens, pencils, markers, crayons, and glue sticks
✅ Hand sanitizer, antibacterial wipes, and tissues

Every donation helps ensure students have the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed this school year. 💙
🗓️ Donations accepted through August 7, 2026
📍 Collection bins are available throughout Delaware County.
