⚖️Republicans just lost in court after trying to run “Green Party” candidates who were actually Republicans.

A Commonwealth Court judge ruled Friday afternoon that Andrew Tupone, a hopeful Green Party candidate in the 7th Congressional District, can be removed from the ballot despite collecting sufficient signatures to appear on it.

Tupone, however, said he plans to appeal.

💅”Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon, a Democrat representing the region just west of Philadelphia, doesn’t seem terribly bothered that there might be hidden reserves of Garrity voters hiding in the rural parts of the state. She joked about the enthusiasm gap in the contest for governor: “I’d urge [Republicans] to spend heavily on all their bad races.”
