Cloud County Sheriff’s Department The Cloud County Sheriff’s Department serves the citizens of Cloud County Kansas. Any rude, insulting, or negative comments will be deleted from this page.

Our Law Enforcement Center houses the Cloud County Sheriff’s Department and Jail. The Cloud County Sheriff’s Department’s Office hours are 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. The Sheriff’s Department has deputies on duty 24/7 to assist the citizens of Cloud County. Any threats will be taken seriously and could lead to prosecution.

Also, court case numbers in Kansas will start with the county abbreviations not KS. If you receive something you feel may be a scam and have questions please give us a call. Did you know you may be able to text 911 during an emergency to our 911 center? Text-to-911 is intended for situations where making a voice call is not possible or safe.

If you can safely call 911, always call first. Voice calls allow dispatchers to gather information more quickly.

When texting 911, remember:
📍 Include your location
📝 Describe the emergency
❗ Keep messages short and clear

Text-to-911 can be a lifesaving option when calling isn’t possible.
