Healey Should Take Miles Driven Tax Off the Table Permanently
With Two Months to Election Day, Healey Cannot Hide Any Longer

BOSTON - The Massachusetts Republican Party renewed calls on Governor Maura Healey to address the Miles Driven tax proposal that quickly moved through the legislature this year.

Healey has refused to directly comment on the legislation based on her proposal.

"I am sure the last thing Maura Healey wants to do is admit she is planning on pushing the Miles Driven Tax over the finish line," said Massachusetts Republican Party Chairwoman Amy Carnevale.

She concluded, "With proposals like this, Massachusetts cannot afford four more years of Maura Healey."

- How is tracking of alleged noncriminal behavior legal?
- Why haven’t the results of the latest DEI survey been released?
- Why are the existing reporting mechanisms insufficient?
- Can names of alleged offenders be redacted under FOIA?
