💙 A Proud Moment for the Rotary Club of Concord 💙

We are thrilled to recognize seven members of the Rotary Club of Concord who have been honored with the Paul Harris Fellowship—a major milestone in Rotary and a true testament to their commitment to Service Above Self.

What is the Paul Harris Fellowship?
-One of Rotary International’s highest honors, named after Rotary’s founder, Paul Harris
-Awarded to individuals who make significant contributions to The Rotary Foundation
-A recognition of service, leadership, and dedication to Rotary’s values—locally and globally

Why is the Paul Harris Fellowship so important in Rotary?
Foundation contributions fund life‑changing work around the world, including:
-Polio eradication
-Clean water and sanitation
-Peacebuilding and conflict resolution
-Education and literacy
-Disease prevention and economic development

It represents Rotary’s shared commitment to creating lasting, positive change

Recognizing seven Paul Harris Fellows at once is an extraordinary achievement for our club and a reflection of the generosity, integrity, and heart of our members. We couldn’t be prouder. 💙

Please join us in congratulating these outstanding Rotarians and thanking them for the incredible impact they make—both here in our community and across the globe.

Today, Concord's Rotarians came together to break bread and break tradition!

We spent our luncheon today getting to know one another better through deep questions, active listening, and meaningful conversation.

Thank you to Brianna, from Bangor Savings Bank for facilitating this connective experience today!

We encourage our community to continue this practice at home, with family, and with neighbors!

This afternoon, our club had the pleasure of hearing from Rich Stancliff, Community Disaster Program Manager for the American Red Cross, Northern New England Region.

Rich shared insight into the Red Cross’s many areas of disaster and mass casualty response across our region, and the critical role these efforts play in supporting communities in times of need.

We also had the honor of recognizing President-Elect Shannon Mills, who accepted a second Sapphire Jewel to his Paul Harris Fellow lapel pin in recognition of his exceptional service to those in need, both locally and across the globe.

An inspiring afternoon of service, leadership, and impact!
