Today, and every day, Contra Costa Fire remembers Peter Aliotti.

Peter “Pete” Aliotti served Contra Costa Fire for 32 years, where he climbed through the ranks, eventually rising to Fire Captain. Pete was a highly esteemed member of the department. His kind heart, positive attitude, and love of life made him an incredible asset to his colleagues and the communities he served.

Today, and every day, Contra Costa Fire remembers Michael Impastato.

Michael was a firefighter with Contra Costa County for 25 years, a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, and the Vice President of Firefighters Local 1230.

During his tenure, he earned the trust and respect not only from his own local union membership, but also from the entire executive board of the California Professional Firefighters. His roots were deeply planted in the labor movement where he worked to ensure that firefighters, and all working men and women, in California had a voice.
