Reminder: Camp Spencer Pool is closed for the season.

We apologize for any outdated information that may still be listed in some places on our website and appreciate your understanding.

Labor Day weekend: Cabarrus County parks, including Camp T.N. Spencer, Frank Liske, Rob Wallace, Vietnam Veterans and Virginia Foil, will remain open on their normal schedules.

All Cabarrus County Active Living Centers will be closed Monday, Sept. 7.

Prepare to certify your Garden and join us for an educational workshop! 🌿🥬🍃

This educational workshop will be hosted at the Mount Pleasant Active Living Center on September 10th, 5- 6 pm. $14 entry. Registration is now open at www.cabarruscounty.us/register

Learn about ways to incorporate native plants and habitats into your garden in order to positively impact the environment and the ecosystem. At the end, you'll take home your very own NC Native plant to help you get started. At the end, take the test to see if you prequalify to certify your garden and learn how to apply!

Update on Frank Liske Park amenities! 🌳

Right now, paddleboats are open weekends from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and mini golf is open weekends from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Both will also be open on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7!

Plan your visit and come enjoy a day at the park.

Over at Camp T.N. Spencer, the pool is officially closed for the season. Thank you for another great summer!

Find your community! Be a part of a series just for men ages 18+!

Come see us Monday, September 14th and 28th at 9:30am at the Afton Active Living Center. Take this opportunity to meet other men in an easy, low stake environment. This program occurs Monday mornings bi-weekly for coffee and light refreshments.
