Shout out to our staff and participants from our WIOA Fast Track and ANI programs for showing up and volunteering at the Sacramento Area Youth Speaks (SAYS) UC Davis College Day!

From supporting students to representing LSS in the community, our participants brought great energy to a day centered around leadership, college exploration, and connection. We’re proud to see them continue building experience and confidence through opportunities like these.

We are in the home stretch! Midnight is fast approaching, but it’s not too late to join the movement.

Today is about more than just a date on the calendar; it’s about ensuring that 45% of our agency’s work continues to thrive right here in Sacramento. Your last-minute gift provides the critical case management and supportive housing that allows over 2,000 local neighbors to thrive.

Let's make these final hours count. Help us build a foundation for a brighter, self-sufficient future for everyone we serve.

Our unhoused neighbors, who are striving for a brighter future, are the reason we must remain committed to our mission. Your generosity translates directly into the case management, essential resources, and dignified stability they need to build the brighter, self-sufficient futures they deserve.

When you invest in LSS today, you are directly funding lasting independence for the most vulnerable members of our Sacramento family.

Make your impact now: Your donation today provides the vital foundation 2,006 of our neighbors need to find their path to stability.

This photo is a promise. It represents the hope that is possible when a community comes together.

Sacramento is LSS’ largest service area (45% of our work!), and last year, our 22 local programs served over 2,000 neighbors, transitioning them from survival mode to stable homes.

The youth in this picture are on their journey home, thanks to the support of neighbors like you. Help us keep that path clear and that horizon bright.

For Kate, one our Sacramento Deputy Directors, a "Best Day" at LSS was the moment she handed the keys to a new resident at Lavender Court!

After sleeping in his car for the last five years, the resident was moved to tears seeing his new home, which our staff had lovingly furnished and prepared just for him.

These are the lifechanging moments you fuel when you support LSS. While our team navigates the journey to housing, our donors provide the foundation that turns a car into a home and a crisis into a "Best Day."

📢 TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY! 📢

Big Day of Giving officially kicks off tonight at midnight! You have 24 hours—from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM on May 7th—to make an impact that lasts a lifetime.

Join us in building more paths toward home. Whether you give now through Early Giving or join the excitement tomorrow, every gift helps us create more milestones for our neighbors.

Early Giving is Here!

We wanted to share this special message from Tangi, one of our youth participants. As she says, your support and time truly make a difference not just for one person, but for so many different people in our community who are working towards their goals.

To our early donors: Thank you for giving us such a strong start! Your generosity is already at work.

To our future donors: There is still time to join the movement! Every gift from now until the Big Day on May 7th 11:59 PM helps us provide the housing and support necessary.
