The League of California Cities, East Bay Division is making the most of our time in Sacramento this week for the City Leaders Summit. Just on day one members participated in a press conference focused on state budget asks for funding for public safety, homelessness and climate and we had legislative visits with Senators Arreguin, Cabaldon, McNerney and Wahab and Assembly Members Bauer-Kahan, Wicks and Wilson.

The League of California Cities, East Bay Division was grateful to hear from Senate Pro Tem Mike McGuire and Senator Tim Grayson last night at our Division Meeting about fire preparedness, insurance and other important issues to cities and the state. Thank you Senators for your time and to our members who showed up to be part of the conversation!  We also had the opportunity to recognize Clayton Council Member Holly Tillman for her past role as chair of our Community Services Policy Committee.
