🚨 Are you prepared for a large animal emergency? 🐴

From trailer accidents to entrapments, large animal emergencies require specialized rescue skills, proper equipment, and a strong focus on safety.

Join the NH SPCA on Saturday, September 19, from 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m. for a hands-on workshop led by Kaycie McCarthy of the MSPCA. Whether you're an animal control officer, police officer, firefighter, first responder, or equestrian, this training will provide practical techniques and best practices to help you respond safely and effectively.

Participants will learn about:

▪️ Safe handling and rescue techniques
▪️ Hands-on stall extraction
▪️ Sling lift demonstrations

🐴 Support Where the Hooves Go – 2026 Trail Fund Award!

The New Hampshire Horse Council is proud to award $500 to the Friends of Pisgah State Park through the Support Where the Hooves Go Community Trail Fund!

The funding will support improvements to the Reservoir Trail and surrounding trails, including bridge repairs, reroutes around wet areas, and boulder removal—helping create better access and more opportunities for equestrians and all trail users.

A big thank you to the Granite State Carriage Association and our generous equestrian donors for making this support possible!
