Fall means backpacks and new classrooms, and as a mom of three, it also means Senator Rebecca Perkins Kwoka is thinking hard about whether our kids are getting the education they need. NH isn't funding schools the way it should, and that gap shows up on your property tax bill. We've spent over $160 million on vouchers for families who could already afford private school. That's money that should be going back to public schools and lowering your taxes instead. Senate Democrats are fighting for that.

I had the pleasure of meeting Senator Mark Kelly this morning on the campaign trail!

We talked at length about how both NH and AZ are facing efforts to dismantle public education—particularly by giving our public education dollars to private and home schools.

We also discussed New Hampshire’s unique challenge of beating back the Free Staters (including my opponent Keith Murphy) whose goal is to defund and dismantle critical public services—like emergency response and road plowing.

I’m more fired up than ever to get to Concord and defend the essential services Granite State families rely on!
