The Cuff and Ladder Fund was established as a non-profit organization in 2006 to provide financial assistance to local police officers, firefighters, other public safety personnel and their families during times of personal hardship due to illness, injury, death or other emergency. As we are entirely funded by money collected from fundraisers and donations, we rely on the generosity of individuals

, organizations and businesses to continue providing much needed support. Since our inception, The Cuff and Ladder Fund provided emergency assistance to many throughout Kalamazoo County and, unfortunately, the need for assistance is ongoing

We have some openings left, lots of food, drinks, and fun planned!

COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Fire Capt. Dale Beauchamp said he and his wife were at a loss for words when the doctors told him a few months ago that he needed a new liver. He'd been battling liver disease for over two years and his liver was only getting worse. However on Feb. 6, his luck changed.
