Back by popular demand, Open Arms Animal Rescue will be returning to the Comstock Township Library on Tuesday, June 23rd from 4:00pm to 6:00pm with their team of rescued farm animals for one-on-one time with patrons of all ages. No registration is required to come receive a little animal love.

Here is your Week at a Glance schedule for May 31st through June 6th at the Comstock Township Library!

The 2026 Summer Reading Program opens for registration on Monday, June 1st! The theme this year is Unearth a Story, so we'll be featuring dinosaurs, rocks, plants, and much more. SRP runs through Friday, August 28th. All ages are welcome to participate. Contact us for details!

Join us Wednesday, June 3rd at 6:00pm as the summer begins and as our gardens sprout for a Seed Saving Seminar! Librarian Dan will go over the techniques you need to process seeds, save them for future use, and how to avoid cross pollination. No registration necessary.

Please join us on Saturday, June 6th at 11:00am for a discussion of the 2025-2026 Great Michigan Read title, "Everything I Learned, I Learned in a Chinese Restaurant" by Curtis Chin. Sign-up begins on May 4th. Books are available to pick up at the Reference Desk.
