Proud of our Tigers!

We would like to give a shoutout to our 8U ALL STAR Baseball team who spent last week battling in the GRPA District 7 Tournament!

Our 8U ALL STAR Baseball team played at Lumpkin County against Pickens, Union, and Banks! Although they came up short the boys gave it all they had to the finish; we are so proud of their resilience, strength and perseverance this season!

Even though summer is here, the work behind the scenes never stops at Commerce City Schools. Our teachers, leaders, and staff are already hard at work preparing for an incredible 2026-2027 school year, and we cannot wait to welcome our students back soon!

We hope all of our Tigers are reading (or being read to) this summer! Here’s another fun way to celebrate reading and earn free pizza.

BOOK IT! Summer of Stories is back for another fun-filled, nostalgic summer of reading adventures and pizza prizes!

Our summer program officially begins TODAY, June 1 and runs through August 31 for children in PreK–6th grade nationwide.

✨ The first official reward claim period opens July 1!

Parents, here are a few important reminders:

📅 Reading days must be marked on the calendar inside the BOOK IT! App. If you miss a day, you’re able to go back up to 7 days.
📖 Children must read at least 15 days within the month, and parents must track those reading days in the app calendar to qualify for their pizza reward.

If you experience any issues, please contact us before the end of the month using the Contact Support page located in the app menu or on our website so we can assist you in time.

We closed out the 25-26 school year by celebrating the retirement of Mrs. Lisa Brown and Mrs. Tammy Patrick. We thank both for their service to CPS and CES and wish them the best in their retirement!

As we close out the 2025-2026 school year, we are incredibly thankful for our amazing teachers, staff, and school community. The dedication, hard work, and support shown throughout this year have made a lasting impact on our students and schools. Our teachers and staff have truly earned a well-deserved break, and we wish everyone a safe, restful, and refreshing summer!
