Looking for a volunteering opportunity!? Meet The Friends of Watson Mill Bridge State Park this September 19th at 8am in the Equestrian Parking Lot.

UPCOMING EVENTS

🗓️ When: September 19
‼️ What: Fall Work Day
🗣️ Details: Volunteers meet at the Equestrian Parking Lot around 8am to help with various tasks. Dress for the outdoors and bring work gloves. Breakfast and water will be provided! Please RSVP by messaging the Friends page.

🗓️ When: October 16 & 17
‼️ What: Haunted Hayride
🗣️ Details: Join us for our annual Haunted Hayride event! Volunteers needed to help decorate the entire main campground and bridge. Anyone interested in helping please reach out to the Friends page via Messenger.

Thank you, Friends of Watson Mill Bridge State Park, for making this summer one to remember! Here are just a few things the group has helped with recently:

- Regular maintenance on 20 miles of trail
- Rebuilt the old campground well shelter (which had been destroyed in a storm) with help from Carlton Volunteer Fire Department.
- Provided materials for public programming- new kayaks, paddles, binoculars, and a seine net!
- Provided fishing rods and tackle for free rentals for the public!
- Shared delicious snacks with park staff for
