Comanche County Judge—Stephanie L. Davis Stephanie L. Davis—Comanche County Judge HON. STEPHANIE L. DAVIS was sworn in as Comanche County Judge on January 1, 2019.

She is a graduate of Comanche High School. Judge Davis received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University in 1996 and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A & M School of Law) in 2001. Judge Davis is currently enrolled in the Public Leadership Credential Program through Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. Judge Davis is li

censed to practice law in the State of Texas and is an active member of the Texas State Bar College honorary society of judges and lawyers and the State Bar of Texas Judicial Section. Judge Davis is also a member of the American Judges Association, the American Bar Association National Conference of Specialized Court Judges, the National College of Probate Judges, and the National Association of Women Judges. Judge Davis serves as the Chairman of various boards in Comanche County including the Emergency Management Board, the Comanche Courthouse Security Committee, the Agency on Aging Board and the 911 Central Dispatch Board. She actively serves on the Juvenile Probation Board for the 220th Judicial District, as well as the Central Texas Rural Transit District Board, and the Texas Association of Counties Judicial Education Committee. Judge Davis received an appointment from the President of the National Association of Counties to be a Vice Chair of their Rural Action Caucus Steering Committee. Judge Davis also received an appointment from the President of the National Association of Women Judges to be the Chair of their Rural Courts Committee.

After experiencing an electrical issue on 04/23/26 4:30 pm the Comanche County Sheriff's Office worked off of generator power until Oncore was able to fix the issue around 2 am. When the power was restored the internet and phone system was disrupted.

➡️9-1-1 is NOT affected nor the administration lines in Dispatch.

🚫While we work on the issue 325-356-7533/ 325-356-2333 and 325-356-2181( are unavailable)

☎️PLEASE USE 254-979-9574 to reach the Sheriff's Office.

✅ IT and personnel are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
