Wow is right! We have all our summer reading charts tallied and these kiddos did amazing!
This summer was incredible. These older children read 375 hours and probably more since so many in this age group think they are too old for prizes. 🤣
The younger children read 4,920 books!
All together they earned 779 prizes and 166 pizzas!
On top of all the reading, our attendance at our programs was off the charts!
We would like to thank the community as well as Colwich Community Foundation, Lions Club of Colwich , City of Colwich, Colwich Elementary, Colwich Fire Department, The Gathering Space and The Confetti Closet for all their support through provided space, manual help and donations.
These donations help us make our activities fresh and exciting for our growing patron base as well as provide the services our patrons need. We sponsor and co-sponsor activities all year long. Public libraries are public to everyone with no boundaries. Our funding, however, is not. If you know of any families or businesses that would like to support our library, let them know. All donations are tax deductible and we are a 501C3.
