We are feeling very fortunate. The tree next to the first schoolhouse in Colville fell away from the log building during last night's storm. Just last week, the University of Idaho Dendrochronology folks were here, dating the building by taking core samples of the logs.

One of our vendors at the gift shop at SCHS is Christal Gillo of Hunting Bee Apiary, AND Hunting Bee Aviary AND she’s a realtor at Heart and Homes Northwest Realty AND a Social Media Designer with Canva, BUT most importantly, she is a wife and mother with three children.
She also is busy educating children and adults on bees and beekeeping. To say she’s busy, is an understatement! Stop by the museum at 700 North Wynne, Colville and check out her honey, soap and candles.

In April, we were honored to show the Keller House to mother and daughter, Pat and Katie Carrico of Bellevue, WA who are relatives to the Keller Family. They enjoyed the tour and history of the historic Craftsman, which was built in 1910 with a price tag of $5,000. This home was one of the first homes in Colville, WA to have indoor plumbing and electricity. Please plan on touring this beautiful home at 700 North Wynne Street, Colville. We are open daily from 1:00-4:00 through September.

We have some over-sized historical photos of Colville and the Colville Valley. We received a donation of glass slides and magically, Richard Willner printed these amazing photos that have such clarity.
They are so fun to look at and try to identify different areas in town. They are on display in the museum and we would love for you to see them!
We are located at 700 N Wynne, Colville, WA.

We’ve been working on updating our front entrance with new paint and carpet. Leamon McInelly and his son, Junior, installed the carpet tiles as a donation to the museum! We chose a commercial grade 2’x2’ tile. It turned out beautiful!
Thank you so much McInelly’s Magic Carpets. They are located right here in Colville at 320 North Main. We appreciate your kindness!
