Don't forget tomorrow's WSU Extension Stevens County Master Gardeners Spring Plant Exchange (May 2). We're in in a new location this year, the parking lot of 986 S Main, Colville, where the WSU Extension office is (along with Grocery Outlet and other stores; next to Rural Resources).
We'll have ...
– Vegetable and flower seedlings ready for your garden
– Propagated houseplants to brighten your home.. and our Plant/Answer Clinic will be open for your questions!

You are invited to attend the WSU Composting Offal Workshop in Colville, WA. This hands-on workshop is for meat and poultry processors who want to learn about composting as a waste strategy to manage offal and other meat processing waste, including producers managing waste from on-farm slaughter.
The workshop will take place May 21, 2026, beginning at 8:30 am at the WSU Stevens County Extension Office. Space is limited, so pre-registration is required. You can register at the below link. There is no cost and lunch will be included.
