Join us next weekend at Columbus Public Health for the Halloween Haunt on Parsons on Oct. 17 from 11a.m. to 2p.m. We’ll offer fun activities like daytime trick-or-treating with community vendors, crafting, face painting, games, a pumpkin patch, and tips on pedestrian and Halloween Safety.

Costumes are encouraged. If you don’t have one, feel free to grab one at our costume drive; all costumes will be free to take home while supplies last. All are welcome to attend!

Ladies, it’s Menopause Awareness Month and we got you covered! On October 14, Columbus Public Health is launching a menopause clinic inside of the Sexual Health and Wellness Center. It’s open the first Wednesday afternoon of every month. We can support you through all the changes menopause and perimenopause throws at you. Remember, menopause is a normal part of life, but we don’t want it to affect your quality of life. We hope to see you soon!

The Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance and Awareness Walk is happening on October 10 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Genoa Park. This is a time for our city to pause, remember babies lost too soon, and ensure no one has to navigate this grief alone. Every step we take together helps raise awareness and breaks the silence. We had the privilege of remembering our community members lost to violence in 2025 and 2019 during our annual remembrance vigil on Tuesday. Alongside their loved ones, we shared messages of hope and healing, connected families with vital resources, and broke bread together. Thank you to everyone who showed up, and shared space with us. If you or someone you know is navigating the grief of losing a loved one to violence, we are here to support you, just give us a call.
