The City of Columbus has been working on updating its zoning code this year. The current code originated in the 1970's and has received minor updates since. The re-write seeks to modernize zoning regulations, streamline zoning and land division processes, encourage reinvestment, and implement the City’s Comprehensive Plan. Recreation Clean Out Sale at the Columbus Community Center (125 N. Dickason Blvd.) from 10am - 2pm on Saturday, September 26th.

Everything is $1 and there will be food for sale including brats, nachos, snacks, and ice cream. Any additional donations will go to future recreation programs.

Did you receive an Absentee Ballot Application in the mail?

A third-party organization recently mailed absentee ballot applications to registered voters.

If you plan to vote in person, or already have an absentee ballot request on file with the City, you can disregard the mailing.

If you are not sure if you already have a request on file, please visit

www.myvote.wi.gov and check the “My Absentee Status” section of your voter information.

If you’d like to request an absentee ballot for the November election, you can also do that

through www.myvote.wi.gov by selecting “Vote Absentee by Mail.”

The Clerk has received several incomplete mailers that do not include a copy of the Voter’s Photo ID,

so you may be receiving a letter or phone call from her soon to rectify. Thank You!
