Due to popular demand, the Northside Recreation Center is expanding the American Sign Language (ASL) Classes for the Summer!
☀Daytime sessions will be held from 2:00PM to 3:00PM on June 24th, July 8th, and July 22nd.
🌕Night sessions will be held from 5:30PM to 6:30PM on July 15th, July 29th, and August 5th.
Classes are free and you can you the flyer's QR code to register. For more information, call the center staff at (706) 641-5940.

Carver Park Summer Camp had a fun and hands-on learning experience today as we discovered all about germs! Through an engaging demo, our young campers learned how germs can spread and why washing hands is so important in a way that was easy for them to understand. They were asked open-ended questions to further their learning.

Get ready, Columbus! The America250 Parade will march through downtown on Friday, July 3, as we celebrate 250 years of American history, patriotism, and community spirit.

Parade Begins at 6:30 PM

Parade Route:
• Start: 1 TSYS Way
• West on 14th Street
• South on 1st Avenue
• West on 9th Street
• South on Broadway
• Continue under the Oglethorpe Bridge
• End behind Synovus Park

Stay after the parade for an unforgettable drone show immediately following at Synovus Park!
Bring your family, friends, flags, and patriotic pride as we celebrate this historic milestone together. Find your spot along the route and join the fun!

Comer Summer Camp’s STEAM Club recently took on an exciting hands-on challenge. 🚀 Campers participated in a scavenger hunt to gather random materials 🔍 and were then tasked with designing and building their own tents or enclosures ⛺ within a set timeframe.
