In alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction 5400.17 and recent Executive Orders issued by the President, the United States Marine Corps has reviewed and adjusted its social media content to ensure compliance with DoD policies and priorities. Marines conduct physical training during the culminating event of a Martial Arts Instructor (MAI) course. MAI courses certify Marines to instruct and monitor Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP), which is a synergy of mental, character, and physical disciplines.
