The final stages of the Tennis/ Pickleball Court Replacement Project in City Park are now underway.

After the courts were reconstructed last fall, today crews are beginning to apply the seal coat and fresh paint, putting the finishing touches on this community investment.

Once the sealer, paint and striping dry over the next week, the new nets will be installed. The courts will soon be ready for residents to enjoy throughout the season!

🚁🦟Mosquito control helicopters will be active today through Friday treating areas with active mosquito larvae. These early May treatments help reduce mosquito populations ahead of the Fourth of July holiday.

Many of the wetlands being targeted currently contain a species commonly known as the “cattail mosquito,” which overwinters in the water as larvae and emerges once per year around early July. This week’s treatments focus on areas where mosquito larvae were identified during surveillance efforts last fall.

Residents may notice low-flying helicopters in designated treatment areas during daytime hours.
