Hi Friends ~
Now that the Holidays are getting closer and closer, it is time to start thinking about A TOUCH OF THE HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR. For the fifth year, Maynard Avenue United Methodist Church will be hosting the Holiday Event of the Season.
For everyone who came last year, thank you for being a part of this amazing event! We had an amazing time, made some great sales, some new friends and enjoying the holiday festivities. For those of you who were unable to be a part of this last year, or this is the first that you are hearing about it - please join us!
A Touch of the Holidays: Maynard Ave UMC Fifth Annual Holiday Craft Fair
IMPORTANT NEED TO KNOW VENDOR INFORMATION.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2015 FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 3:00 P.M.
50 TOTAL VENDORS: We arranged to have 50 spots throughout the whole church to truly transform this year's fair to a holiday must-see. Even though the tables have increased, we will still only have up to 5 vendors selling the same items. If the total number of vendors is increased, due to large demand, there will never be more than 20% of that category in the entire fair. We do accept Direct Sale Vendors (Thirty One Gifts, etc.), however we allow only one from each company in the fair.
COMMUNITY: We have increased our advertising budget and outreach yet again! We are now going to be listed in numerous local newspapers, local shops and throughout local congregations of all beliefs. This we expect to bring in the crowds that will make this year even better.
NEW KID VENDOR Area – A Touch of the Holidays features Kid- Vendors! All kids will have a chance to sell their handmade wares for free! Invite your favorite small crafter along to see what it is like to be an entrepreneur! This year, our kid vendors will be featured in a special new spot. Just off the Social Hall, the Maynard Avenue Youth Room will be transformed into a great kid vendor area. With such visibility, every shopper will enjoy the works of our cutest can’t-miss vendors! (Sorry grown up vendors, but you know it is true!) Just mark kid vendor on your application, and I will send a special kid vendor application for them.
FAMILY FRIENDLY: NEW Kids Craft Area – the Children’s crafts have become such a hit with our little shoppers that we have decided to make the craft area center stage, Social Hall stage that is! Featured on the Social Hall stage, our little friends will enjoy some holiday crafting under the watchful eye of our holiday helpers, while Mom and Dad shop to their hearts content.
VENDOR SPOTS
Reserved & Paid in full before Dec 4th for a 6ft table: $25.00 per table
Reserved & Paid in full before Dec 4th for a 8 ft table: $30.00 (per table)*

This year, Vendors will pick their own spot. Vendors will be provided with a layout of the event and a map each of the tables. With their payment and application, vendors will provide their top 3 spot choices and we will do our best to accommodate you. However, ATOH Craft Fair Team reserves the right to place vendors based on competitive separation of exhibits and comfort and safety of our attendees. If we are unable to give you one of your top 3 spots, then the ATOH team will contact you to with a map of the open spots, and let you pick.
SET UP TIME
Friday (December 11, 2015) 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday (December 12, 2015) 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
OUR BUILDING
Maynard Avenue United Methodist Church is a century old church with picturistic charm and holiday appeal, located in the thriving SOHUD Neighborhood community. With an eclectic community of families, students and the older community, we offer the best of all worlds combine. As an active and vital part of the United Methodist Conference, the Reconciling Ministries and SOHUD Community, Maynard Avenue UMC is favored landmark of Columbus and our holiday craft fair is soon making a mark on Columbus’ holiday season.
VENDOR AREAS
With three main floors, A TOUCH OF THE HOLIDAY’S CRAFT FAIR, will feature multiple floors of shopping, crafting and holiday fun. There are several areas for vendors to choose from:
• Social Hall (Downstairs on the first floor of the church)
• Parlor (Main Floor of the Church: in to the sanctuary)
• NEW THIS YEAR: The Children’s Sunday school room on the main level will be a full vendor area. For the 1st year, we will be offering 3 rooms for vendors to take over and transform with their must-have merchandise. This is the perfect space to provide a full 360-holiday shopping experience.
In addition, this year we will invite vendors to set up in special designated spots throughout the church as our guests travel from room to room. These pathway spots are the perfect opportunity to get maximized visibility and individual attention from guests!
We also have a bake sale, raffle and rest stations, Donna B’s Thrift Store, Breakfast items and Homemade Lunch offerings throughout the church.
