Columbus Arts & Technology Academy Welcome to Columbus Arts & Technology Academy, a K-12 community school of choice!

CATA is the top-performing school in the neighborhood as measured by the Ohio Department of Education's Performance Index. We offer a well-rounded academic program emphasizing Technology & Arts education that features specialty subjects such as Songwriting, Choir, Dance, Intro to Coding & more! We offer a before & after school program for working parents called OASIS and competitive sports such as

Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Track & Flag Football. In addition to our dual enrollment program where students can earn both college & high school credit at once, we also offer an ODE-approved Career Tech Education Program where students can get an early start in career readiness through certifications like Microsoft Office Specialist and Media & Arts Production. We offer full-day kindergarten with an early entrance option for students who turn five years old before January 1.

Here’s to closing our Table Talks 2743 edition for this school year: a heartfelt celebration with our beloved J1 teachers who have become part of the CATA family: Ms. Beckford and Ms. Malcolm, who dedicated 5 wonderful years, and Ms. Lagramada, who shared 2 amazing years with us!

Oh, how deeply we will miss our international teachers, as well as the other members of our CATA family who will soon be leaving us too. Thank you for the love, laughter, guidance, and countless memories that made our school feel even more like home. Though goodbyes are never easy, the impact you’ve left on CATA will always remain in our hearts. Once a Trailblazer, always a Trailblazer!
