All trainees within Alpha Company have already bought their plane tickets and bus tickets.

We would like to invite the friends and family of Americas Company, 2nd BN 54th Infantry Regiment class #25-068 to the 31 October, 2025 Turning Green Ceremony. The ceremony will take place from 9:00am to 10:00am at Kenell field on Fort Benning, GA. From 08:00am to 08:30am a family brief will take place at the Battalion Headquarters in classrooms two and three.
Please note that all non-military personnel need to go to the Fort Benning Visitor Center prior to the event to get a visitor pass in order to be allowed on base. If possible we recommend you get your visitors pass the day prior to the event to avoid long wait times.
After the Turning Green Ceremony is complete, trainees will be allowed to take a local pass until 5:00pm on 03 November, 2025. More information for the pass will be provided at the family brief.

Ceremony Update:

America Company will be hosting the Turning Green Ceremony of class 25-030 at 9:00 am on the 9th of May. The location for the ceremony will be at Pomeroy Field. We invite all friends and family of the trainees to attend. With that being said please take note of the following:

- To gain access to the base you must have either a current military ID or a veterans ID. If you do not have either forms of ID then you will need to visit the Fort Benning Visitor Center prior to the event to get a visitors pass. You will need a drivers license to receive a visitor’s pass. You can register for a pass online by visiting the Fort Benning Visitor Centers website, click on special events, then follow all of the instructions. the event code for our unit is 65JP89K8. For questions regarding access to the base please call the Fort Benning Visitor Center at (706)545-2011.

- We encourage all friends and family to download the free app “GuideOn Military”. This app will allow you to type in any location on the base and get directions to that location.
