"I want to stress the importance of learning about local government, to attend meetings concerning issues you care about, and to make your voice heard. Since the 2023 municipal election, I’ve prioritized educating myself on the various functions of city and county government, attended a few dozen meetings, gave public comments, and spoke directly with our elected officials. I choose to do all of this because I can, in service of the people that cannot. If elected, I will continue to echo community concerns about animal rights, county parental leave, mental health, the opioid crisis, public transportation, and affordable housing." - of Zack Patchett

Hi all!

If you don't already know me, my name is Zack Patchett, and I'm running for one of three at-large seats of the Bartholomew County Council. I am the youngest candidate in this race at 25 years old, 26 by election day.

Over the past 8 months, I have prioritized attending/watching as many public meetings as I could to improve my understanding of how our local government entities operate. These meetings have also provided me opportunities to begin building relationships with local leaders and residents of our community.

Now, with less than 100 days until the election, we enter the next phase of this effort where we organize THE "Friends of Zack Patchett". This is a tough election and I can only do it with your support.
