Christopher Columbus discovered what would become the greatest country in the world. Our farmers love the land Columbus discovered and grow the food that keeps us fed. I think both are something to be grateful for.

I am so proud of this remarkable group of athletes and presented a Statehouse Resolution to them as the U16 National Soccer Champions!!They competed and won in Denver, Colorado. The Elite FC league that they participate on is located in my district & they continue to make a difference for many young men and women who want to enjoy the game of soccer.

Every little bit helps… I was glad to vote to suspend the state gas tax today. If the Governor signs the bill immediately, we should start to see a decrease of 38.5 cents per gallon of gas & 47 cents for diesel …as soon as October 3.

I was grateful to have the opportunity to listen, learn and collaborate on statewide policy initiatives. It was wonderful to be part of the conversation.

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸Today we celebrate being an American! On this day in 1787, 39 delegates met for the final time to sign our U.S. Constitution. They worked hard and didn’t always agree but finally brought forth a remarkable document that would secure our freedoms and guide our governance.

HB 462… Otherwise known as the Nasal Epinephrine Bill is now law and effective so that students can carry a nasal spray form of the life-saving drug. A nurse and a parent came to me with a concern and we were able to fix it. This was grassroots policy making and a great example of how the legislative process should work. The bill will provide thousands of students across the state with an option. I cannot say enough about Aubrey Marbaugh, Beth Heller, my legislative aide Gillian, Ohio State Senator Steve Huffman and his staff.
