Community Partnership for Protecting Children Community Partnership for Protecting Children (CPPC)

Community Partnership for Protecting Children is a strategic approach to child protection in which communities are reclaiming their responsibility to keep children safe from abuse and neglect. Our belief is that no one resident or agency alone can ever ensure that children are not maltreated; the diligence of the entire community is required.

Hello Friends. Stay tuned in for detailed information on our 3rd Annual Child Abuse and Neglect Walk. April 20th!

04/21/2012

Thanks to EVERYONE who came out this morning and supported our 2nd Annual CAN Walk. It was very much a success and we look forward to next year. Also, "THANKS" to everyone who could not walk, but thought it not robbery to donate to the cause. We are truly grateful!

All funds are used to provided services to those communities and families who have been identified as our target population. Our charge is to provide activities and programs to vulnerable families and communities to help deflect them from coming into contact with DFCS (CPS) and help them in becoming more self sufficient for their families.

If you know someone who is at risk of coming into contact with DFCS and you want them to get some type of intervention before that happens...Please don't hesitate to call Community Partnership for Protecting Children at 706-649-1341. We would love to hear from you.

Happy Tuesday Everyone,

Don't forget our 2nd Annual Child Abuse and Neglect Awareness Walk and Jamboree on this coming Saturday at Frank Chester Recreation Center.

Registration is $10 and will begin at 9 am
Walk starts at 10 am

We will be completing a 2.5 mile walk through the connecting neighborhoods to the recreation center spreading awareness about Child Abuse and Neglect. This is done in an effort to provide the community with access to resources that they otherwise may not know about.

If you or another business or resource you know would like to support the Walk and Jamboree, please inbox me or call at 706-464-6028. We are hoping to make a huge impact on the families of Muscogee County.
