We're kicking off the school year by throwing it way back, starting with our Executive Director, Derik Roberts, who's entering his 14 year leading TAs! Growing up in the 80s meant one thing: bold style choices. Neon shorts, cartoon prints, and a whole lot of swagger.

🍂🍁This past Saturday, we had our annual Velocity Masquerade! Our students had a BLAST playing games, painting pumpkins, bobbing for apples, dancing the Monster Mash, & winning SO MUCH CANDY!!! We had lots of competition for the costume contest this year, but the winners got their picture taken with Dr. Nefario! This year's Masquerade may have just been our best one yet! 🍂🍁

This past weekend, we kicked off the Velocity school year with ✨V-DAY 2024✨!!! Over 100 students gathered from Muscogee & Harris Counties for games, food, fun, & meaningful moments taking about what it means to be an Everyday Hero in our schools! ✨ Our Velocity Ice Cream Social is going to be on Friday, 6/28 from 6:00-9:00pm at Christ Community Church! Be sure to bring a friend that you think would be interested in Velocity!
✨ Our Velocity Park Day is going to be on Tuesday, 7/23, from 6:30-9:00pm at Cascade Hills Park!
