Ohio Young Republicans

Ohio Young Republicans Republicans, 18-40. We want you! Heart of it All since 1935 including YRNF. 1300+ members, 45+ counties represented. Jacob Sargent, Chair

Ohio’s Young Republicans are between the ages of 18 and 40 and are interested in taking an active role in Republican politics. They are organized as a special group because as young people they have different skills, opportunities and situations to incorporate into their political activity. Young Republicans take a very active part in GOP activities in their communities — doing everything from voter registration drives, to phone bank operations, to being campaign managers and staff as well as running for public office themselves. They provide crucial support to the Republican Party, working to ensure the future of the party in their communities and state. The Ohio Young Republicans (OYR) is a federation of county and regional clubs from all over the state. A Young Republican (YR) club provides the opportunity for young people who are interested in good government to:

* learn about government and politics,
* participate in the political process
* meet with elected officials and key decision makes
* meet like-minded individuals in your own community as well as across the state and nation
* become better informed and more involved citizens. In 2004, the Ohio Young Republicans were presented with the prestigious President’s Circle Award for its very successful voter registration drive. We have numerous active clubs around the state. To join one of those clubs or start a club in your area, contact the Ohio Young Republicans today! Be sure to like us on Facebook!

Three stops. One Saturday. Pick your leg.

On September 26, Ohio Young Republicans are running the YR Parlay, and every chapter in the state has a way to be part of it.

9:30 AM. Simultaneous door launches in Cuyahoga, Athens, Franklin, Montgomery and Lucas counties. Five counties, one start time. Locations provided after RSVP.

2:00 PM. The Ohio Freedom Rally in Plain City, with the statewide ticket and OYR Chairman Jacob Sargent. Bring a chair.

7:00 PM. Lineup for the Jackson Apple Fest Parade in downtown Jackson.

Why all three in one day? Because that's what a statewide party looks like. Doors get knocked in five media markets before lunch. Our candidates hear from young conservatives in the afternoon. And by evening we are the biggest, loudest, best organized group on a parade route in southern Ohio, walking past tens of thousands of voters who will see exactly which side showed up.

That last part matters more than usual this year. The other side will be walking that route too. Every parade has a moment where one side is louder and better organized than the other, and the folks on the curb remember which one it was. Let's make sure it's ours.

You don't have to do all of it. You just have to do some of it.

RSVP and tell us where you're joining: https://forms.gle/kSK4fiTkrrN4Tj4C7
